The Summer’s Over, Time to Head Back

My things are all packed and I’m ready to go.  I have to drop my dad off at the airport tomorrow so he can fly to Boston for a business trip.  At noon I start my journey to Charleston (nothing better than a five hour drive to clear your mind, huh?).  I have had a summer that has been roller coaster like to say the least.  From my great days at camp to some days at home with some bad news, but I have dealt with it the best I think most people could and I am ready to head back to school.

Wednesday I go back to work for my constituents with an Executive Council meeting with our advisor.  I can’t wait to get back to my office.  For whatever reason, Stern 401 seems to be one of the most comfortable places in the world to me.  It makes me think of growing up in New Jersey.  Sometimes when I was little and I wasn’t feeling well my parents would put me between them in the bed and my dad would tell me that I was in the most safe place in the world.

So I was thinking about the ride back to school and all the things that I am bringing with me to school and I feel like this could be a really great year just like freshman year was.  I have confidence that I will succeed this year.  Anyways, now I need to sleep.
