My Feeble Attempt at a Beard, Camp Coleman, and other Shenanigans

So, I don’t know if I have really mentioned this to anyone, but I am attempting to grow a beard.  I got my haircut the other day and it is really short so I will be able to almost compare beard growth with regular hair growth which should be thrilling.  I know, it is almost exciting as watching the grass grow on the golf course when nobody is playing, but it is my entertainment, so leave me alone.

We got a call last night from Camp Coleman saying camp is being postponed.  Apparently, a bunch of counselors have the flu and they wanted to make sure everything is safe once the campers get there, so at the earliest Anna will be going to camp a week from today, which means there will be another week of not being an only child and sharing the car 🙁

This upcoming week is sure to be a busy one.  I go to Barney on Thursday and my dad has surgery to have a new defibrillator installed all on the same day.  Too much excitement for one week?  Yeah, just a little too much, I agree.

What else is going on in my life?  Glad you should ask blog, well the Yankees beat the Mets today and AJ Burnett pitched pretty well.  My sister’s friend Chelsea and her family came over for dinner, because they had expected to drop off Chelsea at camp today, but were unable to.

Gonna end this one with something from the Hangover:

Alan Garner: Did you have to park this close?
Doug Billings: Yeah, why?
Alan Garner: I just… I can’t be here.
Doug Billings: Why Is that Alan?
Alan Garner: I’m not supposed to be within two hundred feet of a school… or a Chuck E. Cheeze.
